Overview

Nestled on Thomas Street in the heart of Noosaville, Toothies Burger Bar stakes its claim as a vibrant hotspot for those craving hearty, flavorful eats with a twist. Despite its categorization as a hot dog restaurant, Toothies shines brightest through its diverse menu that embraces loaded chips, succulent wagyu beef burgers, and inventive subs like the Chicken Parma. This blend of classic comfort food and inventive sandwiches makes it a destination for a broad crowd—from hungry locals to curious travelers seeking casual dining with character.

The space balances an inviting indoor and outdoor setup, perfect for laid-back lunches or casual evenings. The atmosphere leans into an indie vibe, complimented by arcade machines offering nostalgic distractions and a soundtrack of indie bands that enhance the overall experience. This ambiance aligns well with a younger, community-oriented audience who prefer independent establishments over chain eateries.

Menu highlights like the wagyu beef burger showcase a rich, meaty depth, while the loaded chips consistently earn praise for their satisfying crunch and generous portions. These chips have become a local favorite, a simple side that never fails to impress. The Chicken Parma Sub offers a twist on traditional flavors, layered with fresh ingredients and well-matched sauces, appealing to those seeking something familiar yet fresh.

Fresh sandwiches also deserve mention. Varieties such as the Chicken Salad and Bacon Sandwiches come generously packed with mixed greens, crisp vegetables, and quality cheese, making for a well-rounded, wholesome option. The house chili sauce serves as a standout condiment, adding a subtle kick that elevates these sandwiches beyond the ordinary.

Drinks range from classic CocaCola varieties to refreshing iced teas and waters, providing familiar, reliable options to pair with the rich, savory dishes. The combination of refreshing beverages and bold flavors creates a well-balanced meal experience.

Customer feedback paints a largely positive picture. Regulars appreciate the friendly staff, generous portions, and the genuine community feel. The blend of solid comfort food and laid-back space invites repeat visits—ideal for workers, families, and casual diners. However, critiques about the freshness of some meat components hint at areas where Toothies could deepen its craft, particularly in elevating burger and meatball quality to match the standards set by their standout sides and sandwiches.

In summary, Toothies Burger Bar is a spirited local gem in Noosaville, offering robust flavors and a welcoming setting. It’s a place where you can enjoy loaded chips, classic burgers, or fresh sandwiches while soaking in a lively indie atmosphere. Whether you’re after a quick bite or a relaxed meal with friends, Toothies stands out as a casual, community-focused spot with plenty of heart.

IF you love great hot crunchy chippies, this is the place to come in Thomas St Noosaville. The best local chips by far. A variety of burgers tradie, satay chicken, chilli chicken & more. A burger with chips on the side & drink about $20. You will be full when you leave. Outside/inside dining plus takeaway. Easy access & really friendly staff served with a smile

Stopped by Toothies for lunch Saturday afternoon, exactly what we needed. Very cool off the main-street spot, indie bands on the speakers, even beer on tap! I always prefer putting my money toward independent business and Toothies is a great example. Ordered a burger combo and their sweet chilli chicken wrap - both spot on. Whenever we’re back in Noosa we know where we’ll be going!

Had to update the review after trying other menu items. The meat balls are pre made, so are the beef patties, so I find it hard to believe that you're smoking your own pork as you claimed. Ask for some extra cheese sauce and you can hear the microwave fire up, I just hop they're not being microwaved IN THE PLASTIC ffs. Meat patties are pre-made, filled with garbage, made us both sick afterwards. Me and my sister couldn't finish the meatball sub and the beef burger because the pre-made stuff is just rubbish. If you can't make a patty, you have no business opening a Burger Bar. The staff have been lovely, but there's no atmosphere anymore because there's no people. PLEASE: Matt, get a great burger patty recipe and make this spot great again. The name "Toothy's" weird, am I getting teeth in my burger? Am I gonna lose a tooth? The colour scheme for the signs are weird, but just do a homemade meatball and patty, I beg. I miss Beloporto. First thing I noticed was the arcade machine, stoked to see it has heaps of games, had a go at the original Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter. The Pork loaded chips were awesome, massive portion.

Hands down best grilled chicken burger I’ve had in years, maybe ever. Stopped in for a quick bite before a long drive. I was wow-ed.

We ordered the chicken salad sandwich and it was delicious. We were on holiday and after a lot of eating out all I wanted was a salad sandwich. I ordered the chicken sandwich which comes standard with a lot of salad fillings - lettuce, cucumber, cheese, red cabbage and tomato, and chose the house chili sauce. It was a large sandwich and well worth the $. The chicken was warm and the sauce was great. Great bread and the best sandwich I’ve had for ages. Sandwich came how it was in the photos online. We also ordered some hot chips for our toddler and they were good too!

I love a restaurant that tries something different. Toothies is that place; interesting burger flavours, and a delicious menu of dirty sodas (mixed sodas + optional shot). And it wasn’t just a gimmick; the food and drinks were quality, fresh and generous. The staff were really helpful and welcoming, and the venue is dog friendly too.
